Office Furniture when a bid looks too good to be true it usually is...

When you put a job out there for bid (BUYER BEWARE)! I hear horror stories all the time. If it seems to good to be true it is.

Remember when your putting together your office you want all workers out quickly and to be up and running with minimum down time. Do your homework. Check references (not just 1 reference).

I have heard so many times that a bid came in for 1/2 the price of everyone elese so were going with that company. Ask yourself why and how can they do it for the quoted price? Prepare to run into glitches, especially if your going with used office furniture. Used companies are notorious for getting the down payment and not getting what you were supposed too. Sorry, we ran out of parts let me try and locate them (days later-if they can find them or even better they will Jimmyrig with different parts to make it work). This happens because they want to make the sale. Don't we all.

Be realistic, moving an office is stressful. Construction, Furniture, Carpets, Lighting, Data, Phones, etc. By putting an office together you need everything done in a timely manner. 1st is the construction and then comes everything elese. Ugh! Plan it wisely and get references. I can say it enough!
